Visit and Do

Akshardham temple is one of the most attractive places for tourists and pilgrims as well. This is a Jainism temple of Lord Swami Narayan. The temple has very huge golden idol of Lord Swami Narayan and also having golden carved walls inside temple. This whole temple is very beautiful and has stunning modern architecture. Lakhs of devotees come here every year from all over the India and abroad as well. Outside temple you will get very huge and well-manicured garden which is favourite picnic spot of locals and tourists. Other sightseeing is Adalaj step well which is 15 km away from Gandhi Nagar, Capital complex, Craftsmen’s village, Gujarat science city, Sabarmati Ashram, Rani Rupmati’s mosque and Sarita Udyan. For nature lovers Indroda Nature Park is here. If you are looking for more religious places then you can go to Hanuman ji Temple, Hathi Singh Jain temple.
