You must know that Pathankot is connected to Delhi only while other airports are connected to maximum big cities including Delhi. Pathankot is 80 kms away from Dalhousie but Gaggal is 135 kms and Jammu and Amritsar is 190 Kms away. Lots of taxis and buses are available from these airports on reasonable rates so this is not any problem if you wish to come here by air. Visit and Do

This place is great delight for natural beauty admirers. Lots of things are here to see and do here. Start from Panchpulla. This place is having very beautiful water flow under five bridges. You can spend long time here as picnic spot. Next can be Satdhara, a water fall believed to be curable for many diseases. Walk through mall road whole day and you will never get bored.Other options are Barkota hills and Jandhri ghat.Shopping is another must do. Buy Tibetan carpets, Chamba slippers and Kullu shawls as these are specialities.Woollen cloths, jewellery and other general things are also available here for shoppers.If you like adventures then opt for trekking and trailing. These are most popular outdoor activities here. Khajjiar- Chamba- khajjiar is the best place for trekking. Kalatope is good for forest trailing as you can see lots of wildlife here. Dian kund is another place for trekking.

Like all big hill stations lots of accommodation options are available here. You can choose from luxury five star hotels, budget hotels, resorts, Lodges and guest houses. If looking for five star hotels then ready to pay more than 3000 Rs. per day and get lots of facilities like spa, medicines, internet, telephone etc.If you are looking for economy hotels then you can get it from 500 to 1200 Rs. Rooms will be hygienic and in god conditions. For cheap accommodation opt for lodge. Guest houses are other cheap and best options but you have to do to prior booking as you can get rooms in peak season here. For royal treat opt for resorts and mansions and feel like a king but ready to pay big bucks as high as 5000 to 8000 Rs.

Food

You can get all kinds of food here according to your taste as Chinese, South Indian, North Indian etc. Try mouth-watering Tibetan momos. Kashmiri food is another option if you want some change. Except this you can go to Moti mahal, preet palace, new metro etc. all situated on Subhashchowk. For delicious Punjabi food, go to dhabas like Sher-e- Punjab, Amritsari dhaba and Royal dhaba. These are cheap and best options as well.
